I’ve been fortunate enough to share some valuable information with you in these blog pages, but I’m really excited to share this: I come bearing gifts, in other words. Specifically, the gift of education.
As you may know, we here at TrainingIndustry.com produce a robust series of webinars and executive seminars. Now, for the first time, TrainingIndustry.com events can give you something more than best practices, inspiration and support: We can offer professional certification credits as well.
I’ll pause here for the silent round of applause. You asked, we listened.
Starting with our upcoming Tuesday, July 31, webinar, all attendees of TrainingIndustry.com webinars, seminars and in-person events are eligible for recertification credits from the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI). The credits apply toward ISPI’s Certified Performance Technologist credential, which requires 40 professional education credits over a three-year period for recertification.
Every one-hour TrainingIndustry.com webinar and Executive Seminar Series program will be eligible for 1 recertification point. Longer events, including in-person programs, earn even more credits. That includes the Partnering for Performance conference, to be held April 30-May 2, 2013. Those attending the entire Partnering for Performance conference will be eligible for 12 recertification points from ISPI.
The process is simple: When you attend one of our programs, make note of it, and the time spent (i.e. one hour for a one-hour webinar). Then, when you go to recertify your CPT credential every three years, you report the amount of time spent on your professional development with TrainingIndustry.com programs, and you’ll get the needed credits to satisfy that continuing education need.
Ready to get started? Let me formally invite you to join us for our next webinar, starting at 1 p.m. ET on Tuesday, July 31. We’ll have speakers from the University of North Carolina’s Executive Education programs talking to you about talent management, and how to artfully execute on that mission-critical need. You can register for that (and other accredited webinars) at www.trainingindustry.com/webinar.aspx.
I hope you’re as excited to hear about the professional credits as I am to share the news. Please do reach out (or respond below) if you have any questions I can help with.
Best practices, inspiration, support and now education credits: The benefits of TrainingIndustry.com webinars keep growing. That’s a good place to be.
