To help meet this demand and better serve their customers, iRise has redesigned several of its core offerings.
As part of the new services rollout, two legacy courses, iRise Experienced and iRise Expert, have been rebranded as iRise Basic Training™ and iRise Advanced Training™, respectively. The changes are not in name only. Both two-day courses include a revised topic list, improved course flow, more hands-on “follow me” exercises and independent workshops, and an improved set of materials to serve as effective learning aids both during and after training. Individuals can register for open enrollment classes scheduled at locations throughout the United States at a cost of $995 per participant. Both courses will also be offered as iRise Virtual Training, which is conducted live via web conferencing, at a cost of $595 per participant. iRise will also continue to offer private onsite or remote versions of these training courses to corporate customers as part of an overall iRise adoption program.
Equally exciting is a complete overhaul of the iRise certification program to increase access and provide greater differentiation for individuals with different levels of knowledge, skill and experience using iRise products. The updated program now includes two tiers: iRise Certified Modeler™ and iRise Certified Expert™. The first tier is achieved by passing an online exam that focuses on iRise product knowledge, best practices and basic modeling techniques. Anyone can register for the exam, which can be taken at a time and place of the participant’s choosing, at a cost of $195. The second tier is achieved by passing an intensive modeling exam that requires the candidate to visualize complex software requirements in a timed setting. This proctored exam, which is delivered onsite at various U.S. locations throughout the year, is available to the general public at a cost of $495 per candidate. Private “certification days” for both exams, during which iRise will provide exam prep, proctoring and review to groups of five to ten participants, can be purchased by corporate customers.
