Founded July 5, 1993, The Culinary Training Academy (CTA) is the country’s leading culinary and hospitality training center. The academy is a joint labor-management trust representing over 30 private sector employers, the Culinary Union Local 226 and the Bartenders Union Local 165. Through training and career development for new workers and industry need-based programming for the advancement of incumbent workers, CTA produces employable individuals with a full range of skills necessary for successful careers in the hospitality industry.
