Saffron Interactive opens new R&D office in Pune, India
7-Sep-2010 Saffron
Interactive, one of Europe's leading e-learning, mobile and blended
learning companies is proud to announce the opening of a new R&D
office in Pune, India.
The
increase in demand for mobile learning in Europe has led Saffron to
invest in a new centre of excellence focussed on the use of iPhone, iPad
and BlackBerry devices for training. Following in the footsteps of
Google, Cannon and Pfizer, Saffron has selected India for its R&D
base. "India has a strong knowledge base and substantial intellectual
capital, making it an ideal centre for any R&D activity", comments
Saffron CEO Hanif Sazen. Saffron's initial projects include a platform
that allows videos to be launched on an iPhone from Saffron's
Moodle-based LMS.
About Saffron Interactive
The people at Saffron are passionate about learning. We are not
interested in adding to the mountain of dull, mind-numbing 'e-telling'
that often masquerades as e-learning. We want your people to be
inspired, to be energised, to make the right choices and to take action.
This is why we are in business.
As well as consistently producing award-winning e-learning, over the past two years we have pioneered mobile learning, social learning and blended learning.
We are always exploring the possibilities offered by new technologies
and methodologies to create bespoke solutions, tailor made for the
organisation and the learner.
Our business is based on our belief that learning is natural, that a
love of learning is normal, that real learning is passionate learning
and that learning should be fun. This idea values questions above
answers...creativity above fact regurgitation...individuality above
uniformity...and excellence above standardised performance. However we
evolve, you can rest assured that all our learning solutions embody these principles.
