To be most effective, we need your assistance in this review process. We recommend all companies regularly check and freshen their TrainingIndustry Supplier Directory listing.
This review process will help maximize your listing’s potential by preventing dead links and ensuring that any completed lead forms avoid rejection on the supplier’s end.
First impressions are everything.
Here are four simple ways to make sure your listing is working for you:
- Contact Information – make certain that the phone, website URL, and contact name and email addresses provided for your listing and your lead forms are current.
- Description – What sets your company apart? The use of key words and phrases that uniquely identify you will help your listing be found when a buyer is searching our site for that topic or service. Freshen this description periodically to give your listing a new look and feel, or to update with key words currently being used in your industry’s segment.
- Take Advantage of the Tag Cloud feature – here is how it works:
- A tag cloud is a visual representation of the most frequently used words or phrases on a site. Tags are most often single words or two to three word key phrases.
- Using tags will help to improve your visibility. TrainingIndustry tags are hyperlinks that lead to the list of suppliers that have chosen that tag in their supplier profile.
- Tag clouds contain the most regularly searched-for terms. Tags only appear in the cloud once they are used in that exact format by at least 4 different suppliers in their profile listing.
- Choose tags that best fit your company. If you want to choose key words or phrases that are already displayed in the tag cloud in your category(s), use the same spelling and formatting. For example, if you offer an e-learning service, you could choose “e-learning” as a tag phrase for your listing.
Note: elearning is not the same as e-learning. (see tag cloud to the right)
- TrainingIndustry tag clouds are organized alphabetically. The more popular the tag, the bigger the font.
- Featured Listings may choose up to three tags, free listings may choose one. Once your listing is active, you may change/edit your assigned tags at any time.

- URL Links and LinkBacks
- Please review all URL links that you have used in your listings and make sure they are still active links. If you have a Featured Listing, you are allowed up to 5 links. You will want to make sure these links are current to avoid any frustrations for a potential client and to optimize your linkback metrics!
Editing Your Listing
Your listing can be edited at any time from the Supplier Directory home page, by clicking on the ‘edit listing’ link right above the category listing. All edits are real time, meaning when you confirm the edit, the changes are immediate to your listing. Edit my Listing Now
