General Physics Awarded Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Task Order
ELKRIDGE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global performance improvement solutions provider General
Physics Corporation (GP), the operating subsidiary of GP
Strategies Corporation (NYSE: GPX - News), announced today that its Homeland
Security and Emergency Management group was recently awarded
Homeland Security training and exercise work by Northrop Grumman
Corporation under a task order with the Department of Homeland
Security’s (DHS) National Exercise Division (NED).
GP is one of several subcontractors supporting the prime contractor,
Northrop Grumman, with the Regional Exercise Support Program (RESP). The
Northrop Grumman Team was awarded the RESP Task Order in May, 2010 to
support homeland security preparedness exercises in the 28 states and
U.S. territories in FEMA Regions VI through X (generally, those states
and territories west of the Mississippi River).
