Survey: Sales training benefits vendors, partners

According to a recent poll conducted by Channel Insider and Amazon Consulting, three-quarters of IT vendors offer formal sales training for their partners and only 22% charge them for it. The reason, according to respondents, is that such training is an investment in the vendor's own bottom line. Three-quarters of respondents called such sales certifications a top priority for their own ROI, while only 6% said they considered sales training unimportant. ChannelInsider.com (06/24)
