Business of Pharmaceutical Drug Development Workshop on September 2,
2009 from 9:00 to 4:30 at their corporate headquarters in Washington Crossing,
PA.

The workshop is a one-day program that is targeted for individuals who
work in or with the pharmaceutical industry and provides an overview of
preclinical and clinical development, and regulatory processes.
The workshop uses several learning tools, including The PHARM Game®2 and
a booklet The Pharmaceutical Business: From Drug Discovery Through Product
Launch. When the game is played, teams face challenges when they encounter
obstacles which parallel life in the pharmaceutical world.

The goals of the workshop are to:

• Increase knowledge of drug development
• Explore opportunities to accelerate the drug development process
• Explore clinical Phases 0, I, II, III, and IV of new drug development
• Examine the role of the FDA and worldwide regulatory efforts.
